He is looking forward to this season and getting back out on the road.
Coach Korman has coached in the VYI program for over 25 years and County League for 19 years and has been a mainstay of the Vogues Junior Division for the past 20 years.
He has been an excellent teacher of foundational skills for the younger players, has grown the younger players “love of the game”, and has set them up to future success with the Vogues and in future playing situations at the high school level. Coach Korman has also coached at the high school level – coaching Madison HS Junior Varsity for 7 years.
Coach Damm has been coaching youth basketball in Reston, VA for over 10-years. Confidence. Intensity. Teamwork. Shooting. Defense. That’s how Coach Tabrizi’s teams play.
Since 1999, Coach Hoss Tabrizi’s mission has been to encourage and coach student-athletes of all ages in a way that instills life skills, work ethic, resilience, confidence, and strong character. Adam has been coaching youth and adult basketball and rugby over a decade. Currently a Division 1 County Basketball Coach, Adam has coached all levels of basketball from House/Rec Leagues to AAU.
Adam’s coaching philosophy has been sculpted through years of playing and coaching high-level rugby. The rugby culture promotes working as a unit over any solo effort, which translates to all team sports and especially basketball. Adam strives to make his players feel like a family and works to create a system that supports their growth, and cultivates a love of the game. He values hard work and grit and believes those qualities are what make champions. Adam feels it is his job, as the coach, to develop his players and provide them with the skills they need on the court, the field, the pitch, and in life.
Adam has the best wife and partner anyone could ask for along with three kind and respectful children. Adam’s two boys are deeply entrenched in basketball and his daughter is following in their footsteps beginning her second season with the Vogues this year. In his spare time Adam enjoys watching his kids play the sports he doesn’t coach and cheering for his favorite professional teams. Outside of sports he loves his job as owner operator of Henderson Real Estate.
